Request account deletion

You can request permanent deletion from the GlobalNetApi app or the secure customer website. Sending a request does not immediately delete or disable the account; an administrator reviews and completes it.

Submit online

  1. Sign in to the account you want deleted.
  2. Open Profile or Settings and select Delete account.
  3. Review the notice, optionally give a reason, and send the request.
  4. Your request appears in the administrator review queue.

What is deleted

When approved, we remove or irreversibly anonymise the account profile, authentication credentials, saved recipients, notification settings, API credentials and other personal data that is no longer required.

What may be retained

Transaction, wallet, tax, accounting, fraud-prevention, security, complaint and dispute records may be retained only where required or permitted by Nigerian law, regulatory obligations, establishment or defence of legal claims, or legitimate security needs. Retained records are restricted from ordinary product use and removed or anonymised when the applicable purpose expires.
